Introduction:

At Honest, we strive to offer transparent and customer-friendly options for our router services. This knowledge base article aims to explain the distinctions between renting and purchasing routers.

Router options:

At Honest, we provide three options for our customers—rentals, sales or bring your own device

Renting vs. Purchasing:

Choosing to rent a router with us means your payments are directed towards a service that prioritizes your needs. Unlike traditional purchases, our intentional approach focuses on device failure coverage, providing you with peace of mind and a hassle-free experience. Purchasing on the other hand is cheaper in the long run, however it only comes with a 1 month warranty from Honest. After the initial warranty all claims on the routers function must go through the manufacturer.

Device Failure Coverage:

Renting offers specific protections for customers, such as coverage for device failures. Where your router will be replaced with our current deployment model free of charge, keeping you online without the hassle of purchasing a new router.

Pricing Transparency:.

It's crucial to understand that we do not profit from router sales. Our pricing is transparent, and we charge customers what we pay for the device.

Conclusion:

Our goal at Honest is to provide clear and fair terms to all our valued customers. We hope this knowledge base article clarifies the distinctions between renting and purchasing routers, helping you make an informed decision that aligns with your needs and expectations. If you have further questions, feel free to reach out to our customer support team for assistance.
